Discover the Water Mill

The Binker Mill

Cycle through nature reserve the Reppelerebemden and pass the water mill the Binkermolen.

The Binker Mill is a water mill on the Abeek River, which can be found at 1 Binker Mill Street in Reppel.

The middle mill was first mentioned in 1437 and was then used as an oil mill. The ban mill at this time belonged to lord van Gerdingen and was later used as a corn mill.

In 1845, the mill was seen as an elongated building. The current 1906 stone building still has this elongated ground plan.

The mill and the area where it stands received protected status in 1995. The nature reserve Reppelerbemden is close to the mill and is also a nice place to visit during a bike ride.
